Honoring Irving's Heroes

How can one thank a hero who in the sweltering heat of summer vanquishes the fire and in the bitter sleet of winter rushes to the injured? How does one make a difference in the lives of men who overlook circumstance, position, and income when answering the call for help? Or properly thank the warrior who pushes through a 24-hour shift to return to the streets to volunteer his time in making a difference in the life of another? These are our firefighters; men who count the cost, calculate the risk, and then enter the fray and serve with relentless compassion. The Irving Fire Foundation is dedicated to making a distinct difference in the lives of our firefighters and their families by providing resources that advance education, enrich community, and in times of tragedy - support our heroes.
